Download the LastPass Safari app extension. Locate the download, then double-click on the LastPass.dmg file to open. Click and drag the LastPass app icon to the Applications folder. If you had installed a previous version of the Safari app extension and are prompted that the LastPass.app already exists in the Applications folder, click Replace. The extension said to download the app. I downloaded the app. The app puts up only a grey screen with the LastPass logo. Choosing 'Log In to LastPass' only puts up an identical screen — no login. The extension itself just puts up a blank white box. If the app doesn't work on Sierra, I wish I had been told that before downloading it. If you are encountering issues with launching sites while being logged in to your LastPass Vault via our website (online Vault) or one of the LastPass desktop apps, please be sure you have installed, enabled, and are actively logged in to the LastPass web browser extension. This extension is required to be actively in use in order to launch sites.
